Our History
PT. Semesta Engineering, based in Indonesia, was established in 1985 as a division of UD. Kahael (which was founded in 1975). The name was then changed to PT. Semesta Eltrindo Pura in 1989. The company had a modest beginning and opened its second factory in 1997. Another sub-station was built in Dieng, Central of Java between 1997 and 1998. To ensure that the company’s products and services comply with quality regulations, PT. Semesta Eltrindo Pura achieved both ISO and SPM Certifications for its management and products respectively in 2004. Our focus expanded from manufacture of heavy electrical devices and in 2005, we partnered with MNIS System, Germany, in areas that relate to research and development. In 2006, PT. Semesta Eltrindo Pura achieved ISO Certification from TUV Rheinland, with the DAR standard (Germany ISO standard).
